The Windsor Tropical Fish Community was created on March 10, 2008. The Windsor Cichlid Association decided to expand their network by including all other tropical fish hobbyist in the Windsot-Essex region of southern Ontario. Windsor had been lacking a strong network of fish hobbyist, and hence the Windsor Tropical Fish Community was developed with the goal of building a community.
